Joy was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and attended the University of Alaska Anchorage for her graduate studies. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has worked in the healthcare arena in this state since 1996.
After working extensively in the community, Joy took the opportunity to join the Providence Palliative Care program in May of 2016. In her free time, Joy enjoys the many outdoor activities that Alaska has to offer.
