I grew up in southern Oregon and have lived all over the US, and am excited to finally be moving back to the Pacific Northwest with my husband (who is from Juneau). We have spent the past four years living in Milwaukee, WI, where I completed my Internal Medicine Residency and Geriatrics Fellowship. Prior to that, I completed medical school at the University of Washington and had the opportunity to rotate at PAMC through the WWAMI program. My career interests include providing primary and palliative care to an aging population and caring for institutionalized older adults. In the next year, I look forward to completing my training in Palliative Medicine and gaining the skills needed to fully care for my patients, including at the end of life. I also hope to further my skills in teaching patients, families, and other care providers to broaden my impact and share my passion for my work. In my free time, I enjoy travel, bicycling, reading, and am an avid knitter.
