“Dr. Eric Leslie joined the Providence Alaska Medical Group in 2024. He is the Associate Program Director of the Providence Alaska Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship and the Medical Director of the Palliative Medicine service. He completed medical school at the University of Illinois in 2015, and residency training in Emergency Medicine at the Naval Medical Center San Diego in 2019. He worked as an Emergency Physician across 4 continents with the US Navy before completing the UCSD/Scripps Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship in 2024. He holds appointments as Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine through the University of Washington School of Medicine and Assistant Professor of Military and Emergency Medicine through the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
Eric grew up in San Diego, California. Eric came to Alaska seeking outdoor adventure and greater self-reliance, appreciating these attributes in the local population. He enjoys spending time with his wife Amy and 3 dogs.”
